Lennix began his journey to a deeper relationship with God through the Charismatic Renewal movement in Trinidad.  In 1987, he became a member of the Word of Life Prayer Community under the leadership of Babsie Bleasdell.

 

In 1990, he came to the United States and, in 1993. he joined the Leadership Team of St. John the Baptist Charismatic Prayer Group on West 31st Street in Manhattan.

 

Over the years, he has served in various capacities as a Service Team member of the Archdiocese of New York and, since 1995, has been Chairperson for Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx.

 

In 2013, he assumed the role of Co-chairperson for the Service Team of the Archdiocese of New York and, in 2019, was made President of the Service Team, a position which he currently holds.

 

His connection to the Charismatic movement continues to enrich and add new meaning to his life as he remains an active member of the Our Lady of Peace Prayer Group at the Church of St. Jean Baptiste on East 76th Street in Manhattan where he is employed as the Chief Operations Officer.
