Look To The Mountains

LOOK TO THE MOUNTAINS

I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come? My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth. God will not allow your foot to slip; your guardian does not sleep. Truly, the guardian of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps. The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your righthand. By day the sun cannot harm you, nor the moon by night. The LORD will guard you from all evil; will always guard your life. The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever. Psalms 121.

Where and what you look determines your interests and your goals in life. Can you reach your destinations without looking at the road that leads to your destination?

The psalmist said: "I will look up to the mountains from where shall come my help." Look up to your source of help. Look up to your source of victory. Look up to your source of healings. Look up to the place where your promotion will come from. Look up to your key to power.

Look and receive. The Lord Jesus said: "Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the son of man be lifted up so that whoever looks at him will be saved."  The thief on the cross looked to Jesus, he was saved. The woman with the issue of blood looked at Jesus as she touched the hem of the garment of Jesus and she was healed.

Zaccheaus wanted just to look at Jesus. He received Salvation. Looked and be saved. Look and be delivered. Looked and be healed. Looked and be encouraged. Looked and be lifted up. Look and be elevated.

The Bible says: "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." To look is to focus on your goal and the end you have in view. To look is to gaze intensively at. To look is to persevere and persist. To look is to focus on. To look is to be aware of. To look is to know and recognize. To look is to stay in. To look is to remain in. Your victory is in your looking. Elisha received a double portion because he saw Elijah lifted up to heaven. The disciples were assured that Jesus will come in the same manner because they saw him go up in the same manner at the ascension.

The wife of Lot was destroyed because she looked at the place of defeat. Refuse to look at your place of failure. Focus and meditate on your source of power. Destroy your weakness by building your source of strength.

Look up to the mountain. Mountains have significance in the bible. I will pay attention to write on the significance of mountains. Looking up is a position of strength and victory. Looking up is a sign of hope. Looking up is a sign of anticipation and expectation. Looking up is a sign of standing erect. Looking up is a sign of courage.

Do not look at the valley below you. You were created to live at the top not at the valley. You were created to live in excellence not in mediocrity. You are destined for the top life. You are made to live in life like a king or a queen. You are made to go forward.

You are seated with Christ in heavenly places. You are seated in a place of victory. Ephesians 2:6 says:  "And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus."

Colossians 3:1-2 says:  "If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of what is above, not of what is on earth."

Potentiality Action Key: What you see is what you get. God told Joshua: "Look I have given you the city." Joshua 6: 2.
